We are for children. We are for students. We are for families. We are for businesses. We are for schools. We are for leaders. We are for the forgotten. We are for Lenoir City and for all of Loudon County.
#ForLC is a hashtag. A hashtag is a keyword or a phrase used to describe a topic or a theme. Anyone who sees the hashtag can click on it and be brought to a page featuring the feed of all the most recent tweets that contain that particular hashtag (Lifewire.com).
You can use #ForLC on your social media pages to share how you are seeing the power of Christ work & move through our community. Post pictures, videos, links and more followed by #ForLC. We can't wait to see our community change through the power of God's love!
We want Central UMC to be a place where unchurched people love to attend. Unfortunately, many unchurched people are more familiar with what the church is against, rather than what the church is for.
We simply want Central UMC to be known for what we are for.
We are for children.
We are for students.
We are for families.
We are for businesses.
We are for schools.
We are for leaders.
We are for the forgotten.
We are for Lenoir City and for all of Loudon County.
We are #ForLC.
The reason we are for the people in our county is because God is for them. The most famous verse in the Bible clearly states this:
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but will have eternal life.”
We simply want to share the news with the people in our county that God is for them, and we are too.
There are many ways to get involved on a grassroots level:
let someone else in line before you, pay for someone else's meal or gas, volunteer your time serving.
Practically at this point, we felt the best way to begin is to pray intentionally for our county.
Download this 31-day prayer guide and begin praying for our county.
More opportunities will be rolled out, but we begin with prayer.
